Alexi
Taylor Faucher is the principal of both ATF Catering and Seduction &
Spice Specialty Dinners for Lovers. She approaches menu design and food
preparation with the flexible perspective of a world traveler who has
lived in America’s Heartland, the eclectic Southwest and on the
East and West Coasts.
As the Millennium approached, Alexi considered her 20-year career in
dentistry and consulting business as a professional organizer and reached
the inevitable conclusion: it was time to begin the rest of her life.
Trading job security and scrubs for chefs whites and an uncertain future,
she aspired to build a business from her lifelong vocation of creating
food that is aromatic, visual and delicious; food that tantalizes and
delights.
Alexi graduated from the Scottsdale Culinary Institute-Le Cordon Bleu
in Scottsdale, Arizona. While attending culinary school, she gained
practical experience in the food & beverage industry with a highly
regarded trio of restaurants in the downtown Scottsdale Arts District:
Cowboy Ciao, Sea Saw and Kazimierz world wine bar.
Currently residing in both Seattle and Arizona, she now combines her
classical French training with the unbridled enthusiasm of a mid-life
career changer and produces delicious results. Showcasing the bounty
of each Season in its time, Alexi creates edible art from nature’s
palette of ingredients to offer her guests their very own, personalized,
feast for the senses.
